Downing street is a very interesting place and a very clear image of the huge gap between the public and the power.
I
wanted to go Downing street to give the finger to the place where
dickhead after dickhead who rule the British empire lives. When I got
there, there was a four meter fence closing in the entire street and
four armed cops.
So much for the power of the people when the
leaders have to have the whole street where they live enclosed with a
fence and guarded at gunpoint.
I wonder during which imperialist campaign this happened, Ireland? Afghanistan? Iraq? or maybe during the miners strike? |
