Christmass

I went to Linköping to selebrate christmass with my famely, then I was shangheied to a trip further north to help a friend move. It was a five day roadtrip but all and all, a really good time.

Some times it pays to go back and edid a picture a second time.

We went to Norrköping to play at Unityfest II. It was a really great night but I managed to ruin two microphones, sorry about that.
I also took the opportunity to practice my photographic skills at shows, its really tricky but my former teacher gave me a good tip.
There is a ton of shit pictures for every decent one. This is mainly Blindside playing.

Some times there is a light that looks fun but then it is really hard to work with, still struggling with creativity.

More painful every year

When I was younger, getting tattooed was not a huge deal, but somehow the level of pain I can handle seems to be less and less. Last time I got tattooed was so bad that I promised myself to stop doing it. Today wasn't as bad but it still hurts. If this is a trend that will continue I will have to hurry up and get covered because I don't want it to get much worse than this.

On the road

When I was in school I got assignments in photography class, it would be to take pictures in certain lights or with certain themes. It was really good for me and I like to think that I was pretty good at it. Maybe not taking the pictures but coming up with the ideas.
When I finished school I have mainly taken portraits and it haven't been to creative but now when I went on tour with my and my friends band I brought my camera and decided that I wouldn't take just straight up portraits but to try to make it a little more interesting.
So here I will publish some pictures of how I spent my days this weekend, in the car.I like to keep it to that in this post. life on tour is largely life in a car.

Downing street

Downing street is a very interesting place and a very clear image of the huge gap between the public and the power.
I wanted to go Downing street to give the finger to the place where dickhead after dickhead who rule the British empire lives. When I got there, there was a four meter fence closing in the entire street and four armed cops.
So much for the power of the people when the leaders have to have the whole street where they live enclosed with a fence and guarded at gunpoint.
I wonder during which imperialist campaign this happened, Ireland? Afghanistan? Iraq? or maybe during the miners strike?

The love of my life

Today I tried to print screen pictures from a video of a hardcore show that I got from Yohanna. There are a lot of people in the scene who is really good at taking pictures in impossible light of people who won't stand still long enough for you to get the focus right. I'm not one of them. Besides, this show would have been hard because I was on stage. It was a really happy moment.
So after a lot of work, this is the image that I managed come up with. Not a very good picture technically but I like it any way.
Hard core punk have been the love of my life and will probably be the death of me in some way or another.
